Congratulations. Yay, another Chicane Silver owner! Good to hear of your dealership experience. I'm thinking the drive back was full of smiles and sighs of pleasure. Enjoy the long-way round to everywhere, from now on!

The drive back was great. Of course, now with all the rain in Texas it has not left the garage since Tuesday. Good news is - Sunday is supposed to be dry!

Congrats on your purchase. I can't wait to see photos. I've flown to Florida twice for both of my S2000's. I recently flew up to Bellingham, WA to purchase my Miata for the track which ended up being an awesome 3.5 days drive home. The scenery was awesome until I hit Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas. The two Florida trips were boring due to it being I10 all the way home.

As for the drivers people usually don't see how bad traffic is until they leave this state. Everywhere I've gone the people have been courteous and they actually use their signals. No 3-lane changes, people predict where their next exit is instead of realizing where it is at the last second. I don't know what it is about Texas... it must be the "I only care for myself so F everyone else" attitude.

Congrats again on the S and glad to hear you made it home.
