Fischer Universal Cup Holder

This seems to be the solution I was looking for... Even 'medium' fast food cups are running 32oz today... And I got sick of shifting 'over' a big cup or Grande Starbucks... This is within easy reach and looks almost factory when closed.

This was $15, and is made as well as the web site says. I used one of the net screws, substituted a longer one, used a big square of velcro on the rest of the back and its plenty secure for a big soda. There are wires running behind here... so be very careful if you choose to drill a new hole... I don't drill thru anything I can't see the back of and didn't want to hit anything under the car either.

modifry.com stocks the cupholder.... and ultimatecupholders.com has this and a few others I considered.

I know for a FACT that the last year of production of the S2000 is 2003!!!!!

After that, it will be the S2200 under an assumed name.

Can you post the link. That domain name you posted doesn't exist. "www.universalcupholders.com"

Good job! Would never have mutated "universal" to "ultimate".
I like this one much better than the swivel one I got that's meant for a motorcycle. Yeah, imagine a guy riding a motorcycle, drinking coffee.

^I saw a kid on a bicycle one carrying a bag of groceries in one hand and trying to text with the other. After he almost fell twice, he decided to stop pedeling and finish his text.

Their metal one looks interesting, but didn't think it would hold the 'stepped' cups that you sometimes get .. the ones that are thin at the bottom and bigger on top.

I picked one up kinda like that at the local marine store and put it in the same spot. Yeah, I was REALLY careful where I drilled.
Slick install PB.

I thought about buying one, but concluded that a cup in that spot would interfere with thigh room for a passenger. Guess I will stick to smaller cups or none at all when in the S.

Hmmmm, my S is still too new to consider eating and drinking inside it! Strictly verboten, and will stay that way for another 2 or 3 years I think. After that, I might (maybe, perhaps, could) resort to eating in it, and perhaps in 2019 I might consider drinking in it!!!
But if this schedule changes, I shall definitely consider this design.
