everyone,

after much talk i have decided to take action on a Massive Group Picture. i want at least 20 s2000's there. i know we can get 30 if we plan this thing properly. the more the merrier. i will be making fliers so we can place them on non-s2kca members. this event can be a great way to introduce people to the club. i am also going to talk to will about making it an NSX event also. we can take a picture of ONLY s2000's and ONLY NSX's then a combined picture.

to make this work i will need everyone to PM me the best days that will work for them for July and August.

we will need ideas PM'd to me also. i would like ideas to be centrally located so that way we can accomadate the northerners and southerners. this will be the event of the YEAR!

It'll be very tough to get the local nsx'ers involved, its difficult to schedule nsx meets for any reason, seems most have tight schedules, but once a date is set, I'll see what I can do.

$1200 to rent the deck after 6:30pm, usually $2400.
$150/car to load onto the deck
$320 to hire a fire marshall

They need 3 weeks lead time, fire marshall would need 2 weeks lead time

I would be willing to pay $150 to have me and my car photgraphed on the deck and then split the other fees between all participants.

Would probably make and awesome club photo, hell, I may even join just for that.

Could probably sell the photo to Honda and its dealerships and make money.

Definitely doable but I'd suggest starting it's very own thread with some decent lead time. Could prolly pitch the idea to Honda and see what they might be willing to help out with($).

Id do it in a heartbeat.... maybe include the socal peeps and make it a HUGE photo? only and hour from me ;)

No matter where you put the photo shoot, the vast majority of the club members will not be able to be there. They either will live too far away or it will be a bad day.

Why not ask everyone to submit a high-quality picture of their car and create a poster that is a composite of all of these pictures - each in its own square or rectangle?

i like your idea and i want to do both ideas. the honest reason that i want the group picture is that it is a present for myself. i want a picture of everyone to remember my time here in this state. and it will be a great pic for everyone that has been talking about this idea. i still want you there buddy. :thumbsup:

I like the group photo idea. Also, if everyone submitted some of their favorite photos from our drives / events (in digital format), I could put together a pic-video with whatever music you wanted. It would take some time, but I'd be willing to do it for ya buddy..
