Come to think of it this movie will probably be a bad one. At least that's what everyone is saying. How about posting your comments here?

I don't expect it to be good, but I do expect it to be entertaining with all the cars. Are you still planning on going to see it?

You want to see it this weekend? Thinking maybe Sat. I will be up in Longmont and can leave early and meet up with you to go watch it. Thoughts?

Any other suggestions on when? I know we can work something out.

I saw it with a friend of mine. The plot was really weak; as in the main character meets some guy who just gives him free cars. The acting wasn't the best, and asians were the villains again, but it made sense because 98% of the people in the movie were asian. I've seen weaker plots in movies and i guess there probably is a .000001% chance of it actually happening, so i can't kill the idea all together. The cars were really bad ass. Last movies, the producers tried to get into details of the cars and people tore them apart with the real facts. This movie, they worked more on the stunts and had the viewer clueless as to what the car had done. They'd open the hood but not show the engine, which is cool cause it shuts up the crowd of kids with their car manuals in the theater, but also eliminates much of the "show" aspect of the previous movies. The drifting was insane. SCC mag did a write up on it and it hits the spot. Those drivers are damn good at drifting, and the best part is that most of the scenes if not all are real. One scene, the driver drifts up this circle drive thing in a parking structure and misses the wall by inches; the real driver did that 4 or 5 times flawlessly in filming the movie. The villain's Z is a crazy car in real life which makes it that much cooler in the movie. The veilside rx-7 makes me regret buying an s2000 especially when the guy picks up 2 hot chicks while drifting. All in all, the movie made me want to buy a widebody kit and turbo my car, not like I will or anything... but if a movie makes me want to do that it must have had some good aspects.

Ok, the only time I have is this Friday. However, I am not going to be in Denver. In the Fort.

Still interested?

I enjoyed the movie thouroughly because of the cars in it mainly. That and it was based in Japan which I fancy quite a bit. So imo it was a good movie. Didn't see any S2k's in it this time around, kind of made me dissapointed. I know I sound like a 2year old typing that but i'm in a rush and wanted to add my 2cents. Cheers!

Saw the movie. Pretty good. Beautiful ladies in the movie. Gotta say that Drifting was pretty cool but I still think I like straight up racing better. Either racing in the mountains or around town or a 1/4-1mile run. I will say however that drifting is definitely something difficult to master.

Don't read this part if you have not seen the movie yet:

I do think the part where the son meets his dad in Japan was pretty sick I mean what was on her lips????? Well, we know.

Yes, the rsr S2000 is in the corner when they first get into that garage. There is also a STOCK S2000 in the very beginning, when they are in the high school parking lot - Silverstone AP1 in the right corner of the screen. I think there is an over built yellow S2 near the end of the movie too.

its well understood by all but again the story line and characters were odd. the main person talked like Forest Gump.
