I want to thank all the great guys and gals of the Mile High contingent of the S2KCA for a great time on 4/23!! As a new owner of a convertible roadster (Pontiac Solstice) I was welcomed, even though I don't own a Honda S2K. I knew Skyman00 and his beautiful better half, as both Monica and my wife Kim share another family hobby, and so I wasn't worried about the rivalry and the "my cars the best, yours suck" stuff that I've read on some of the more emotionally charged forums. I had a great time, and I enjoyed meeting this great group of sport car enthusiast, and got to appreciate the wonderful scenery that I find myself taking for granted on most days. So if any of you live in the Mile High chapter area and have not gone out with this bunch I would urge you to do so as you will not regret it!

Unfortunatly I wasnt able to make it on that run, but I'm glad to hear you had a good time. Also glad to hear some of the BONEHEADS like SILK didnt ruin it for you. :moon: He can be a real pain sometimes. :loser:

I thought really hard about getting a Solstice, the styling is awesome.......But what it came down to was having enough trunk space for the golf clubs (Thats a neccessity not an option).

Hey I liked Silk!! He was easy to talk to and pretty funny, but he has to put the top down! :D
And no I have no trunk space when the top is down. Also the performance is nothing like your cars although I'm really happy with the handling.

Thanks John! And no, not yet but I plan on taking it off today.

Trent & Kim - It was good to have both of you along for the drive. You are welcome to tag along anytime. My friend Russ was happy to see another Pontiac.

Thanks for stopping by Co.Solstice! I'm glad that you had a pleasant experience with the Mile High crew. We're all in this together, so we might as well enjoy it together. Feel free to drop in and post your thoughts on the Solstice. There are plenty of them here in Houston, and the look really nice just driving along.

Enjoy your car with a view!
