something to consider if you live near denver and want to see the denver GP this year from a different angle, for free:
so some corner work, manage the start grid and things, for one or more days. if interested contact Teri.Massey@denverwater.org
for the event you have some responsitibities but they are generous to let you wander through the race areas with only moderate restrictions. free food and after race free beer. In general they treat people well. often they have parking arranged for the workers. i have been able to get a family guest in in the past. every year is different but again they always have treated their people well.
seems they also need help for other events too, an email below from teri::

Hey All!
We have a Double National at Pueblo this next weekend (April 8th & 9th) if anyone is interested in coming down and work Pit & Grid!
Find out what we really do on the Pre-Grid and Hot Pits!
I am really short on help this weekend and we are expecting +120 cars
If anyone needs something to do this weekend – I could really use your help – this will get you in gear for the up and coming GP of D.
Let me know if you would like to come down – you can call me on my cell at 303-913-1142.
Thanks,
Teri Massey – Chief of P&G
PS: We have started our meetings and planning for the 2006 GP of D.
Should be a good time and shorter hours – and beer and a real dinner at the end of the day Friday, Saturday & Sunday – something to look forward to.
Will keep you informed!
