Ok well the National park is out because its closed, so Denver asked me to start a thread finding out places anyone wanted to go. There are tons of routes we can take. Please chim in if you are planing to go with any ideas of where to go.
I'll put up some drive ideas that came up at meeting tamorrow.

I am up for a drive. How about something down hwy 85 towards Franktown.

looks good to me. Can you post a map of the route. where do you think would be best to meet? Plus its far enough south that rocks should be lite. So Silk may even go. ( though who wants him there....)

I don't know the route I just heard some one at the table said they have driven it before.

Is there a route determined yet? I'll mention this to Zaena and see if she's interested.
OK we got a few options that I like. 1: we meet at C-470 and Santa fe to do hwy 85.(betting light to no sand on this on. looks to be "safest" all around) Looks ok on a map. 2: We follow 285 to Southpark, or sooner depending on sand. (probly no sand till we get 50miles into trip. Good mix of turns to speed) 3: We take I - 70 west and attack the back frontage roads that I know so well. (probly be some sand. Lots of turns some med to high speed) 4: We meet at gas station on hwy 93 going toward boulder, and go do the two local canons up to 119 and come back (betting this has the most sand of all routes. ALL turns next to no high speed funnest IMO)
Ok if your goin put up a vote, or put up a better idea. we need this figured out by sat night :D
if not enough of you are going to make a good vote, we will just do hwy 85, since it would make silk happiest, but I dont think it would be a great run, as it doesnt look like it has a lot of turns on it. but maybe some good views.

I am still in, but with the recent weather we had I vote c 470 - 85 route. Just give me the time and place to meet.

OH CRAP! My bad, was working late just got home. Was thinking c470 and hwy 85. Now thinking meet at frist gas station on the right going south. As I havent been down there. So just get off at hwy85 and go to first gas station on right. meeting time of 11am.

Thats the Santa Fe Exit on C470, right?? AKA the Arapahoe Community College exit. Once off the highway head south to the first gas station on the right. Got it. I should be there, still a slight chance that I might not.

I'll call Terry this morning and see if he's gonna make it as well. The wife is studying to make rank this weekend, but I'll be there in my car. I wish I knew exactly which exit this is off of 470, that would make it easier. Hopefully Terry knows. :D Weather looks great this morning

Man what a great day for a TOP DOWN drive! I mean come on SILK! Wasnt it great!

Good to see everyone today. The weather was perfect for a top down drive. Sorry I had to cut out early, I wish I could have hung around for lunch.

Not likely - seems my LBP clashes with Silverstone.
Glad everyone had a nice drive. I took advantage of the great weather to get some yard work done and changed the oil in my motorcycle. I have a big trip coming up to the right coast the end of May. http://www.s2kca.com/photopost/data/500/307706Biker.gif
