story of my life...

this being my third s2000 i've always had the entire factory kit on all three. i am not very inspired by my 2006 oem wheels and am currently awaiting my comptech side skirts. this got my mind going even more. i see many s2000's(and other sports cars) for sale after a great deal of time, effort, and money was spent turning these beautiful canvasses into something unique. some sell them to move on to something different and/or better. i on the other hand have always come back to the s2000. does that mean that one day this car that i love so dear will be put up for sale for something else? i am torn between spending the energy into making this s2000 unique only to turn my back on it when i get bored. i don't believe i could ever get bored with my s2000 nor could i ever imagine selling her for something besides another s2000. never say never and who knows what is around the next corner. all i know is that i love "Samantha(my s2k.)" and with love comes passion and determination to make her as beautiful as i know she can be. so i decided that i shall spend the energy for the one i love.

:thumbsup: Silk - Good choice on upgrading your car a little more. You are the only person I know to get every factory option (except the hard top), its going to be weird to see the car in any other way. BTW - If you are going to get another set of rims for Samantha, you should lend me your stock rims for awhile ;) .

Why does everybody name their car (if they do at all) after a woman? Does any one of us think that our s2k is cute? Would you name your nuclear submarine suzi? A miata may be cute and cuddley but not MY s2k. I don't tend to give cars human names or attributes, but if I did mine would be something like Lance or Rock or somesuch other testostorone filled, hairy assed, manly man name. Maybe we should look into aht guys that hide behind their fender skirts? :jester:

The last used motorcycyle I bought was from a gal I know down in Albuquerque. She had named it STudley!!!! :agree:

I refer to mine as the "silver bullet" too. It kinda has that bullet look to it. I would refer to my previous vehicle as a red flash because that's all you would see as it passed you... a red flash. :)

no they are one long piece. i originally had the side strakes on there. the comptech ones look exactly like you said, "OEM side strake with an extension going to the front fender." yes that is an OEM front spoiler, i can't wait for my work wheels, it will set the entire car off. :bored:
