Just out of curiousity what would be some really good cams and valve springs to go with the 2sk. I heard Toda makes some but has anyone ever known anyone who has put them on and what their gains are. Also wqhat about the price? I've owned an 01 TegR and was going to buy some todas for the R but they were like 1grand. Will Todas be about the same price on the s2k. Any help would be appreciated.

I understand Toda made very few sets and then began work on a new version which isn't available yet. The original set isn't being made any longer. The new set requires new springs for both intake and exhaust whearas the original cams required the use of stock intake springs on the exhaust valves. Somebody in california is trying to develop a set, but he is in development stage and is not yet marketing them. Gs2k has the original Toda cams and he seems happy with them. The trouble is, they are not available. People claim there is a 10 to 15 rwhp gain from the cams. (If you believe even half of the hp claims people make, then the Honda engineers must be idiots because all sorts of garage mechanics are gaining hp by adding diodes and resistors and cutting holes in air cleaner boxes.) IMHO, I would wait a while before buying cams, and see if anyone can verify real gains at a reasonable price together with smooth drivability.

Cams are very nice but CARB will probably tale a dim view of them if they ever deside to smog it.
