i feel the vibration on take off from the axles.I just want to replace the axles.the car is a 2001 ap1 with 105,000. There are no axle spacers. would putting in spacers stop the vibration?i know i could switch cups, but id rather replace or install spacers. where is a good place and good brand that makes axles?i dont want race axles. This is just a daily fun car,not a track machine, and will never see a track

There's no guarantee with spacers. They might work. They might not. You can try the split spacers (about $150.00 a set). They're much easier to install. The single piece ones require that you do almost the same amount of dismantling as replacing the 1/2 shafts.
Your "best" brand of axles would be OEM ones. You could also consider rebuilt ones or look for them on ebay (lots there for about $250.00 a pair). Except for trying split spacers, it's all going to be a bit of work anyway, so why not consider swapping CV cups? Doing the swap is free if you do it yourself.

Nothing is guaranteed, but it's a pretty safe bet. This is also assuming that you have diagnosed the problem correctly.

If your problem is vibration an accel, and it dissapears completely on decel, the axle bucket side-to-side swap will surely fix you up.

Esp at your mileage...my record low for an s2k with this problem is 39k miles.

Thanks, that seems to be the exact feeling.
