I was thinking of getting the OEM optional front lip, but have a bit of a nasty drive-way in front of my house. Can someone who has the AP2 lip tell how much it adds to the existing bumper. I'm worried about the sides in addition to the front.

Honda did a pretty good job of integrating this lip to the existing bodywork. When I added mine on, it reduced ground clearance around the front bumper area by only about 1/2", perhaps almost 1" at the most. I can still go over very large speed bumps without hitting. Some driveways can be a bit hazzardous but the scraping is minimal and you learn to take those at an oblique angle. Go out and put your car onto your driveway and measure the clearance at the lowest point. If you have another inch, you can do it. If not, then see how much and I'll bet you can do it if you take that driveway at more of an angle. That, or put a strip of lumber across it if your local laws allow it.

I have an AP1 OEM lip and mine only adds maybe 1" max. Probably really about 3/4".

Thank you both! Just one other question. How has your lip held up as far as rock chips? I have a clear bra, so I'm not sure how much chipping goes on low on the bumper.

I just checked mine and I have almost exactly 6" of clearance. As for rock chips, I've got a few. But in Washington they sand the roads in winter. Being as the lip isn't metal, it doesn't chip like the hood does.
