OK,, Stupid Question Time!

I have an 07 S2K, so I just went to get my first inspection.. Guess what.. We can't find the ODB port, so I call honda, who says it should be on the pass side next to the center console.. Guess what.. It's not there... So I give where is it? I hate to go to the dealer to get this done since it will take hours vs minutes. I did a search on the fourm but only found one picture that showed it right where Honda said it was, but not on my car. Maybe they didn't bolt it in place and it's hanging behind the dash. Hope I don't get pulled over, since I'm 6 days late now.

Mine is on the driver's side of the console, right about where my knee is. I have an '05.

It's on the driver's side, front console. Next to driver's right leg. it was on the passenger side for years '00-'01. It's just behind the lip of the dash. If you can get you head down closer to the pedals you'd be looking in the direction of the right upper corner of the windshield.

Thanks. I made an appt with the dealer, same price. I did look under the dash but I could not see it, but as we all know there is not much room under there. I told the dealer it was an 07 and they gave me the 00-01 location

Ahhh, if you had come to S2KDays '09, this was covered during repiv's tech talk.

The part I highlighted in red is exactly what you have to do. That thing that looks like a speaker cover by the driver's right knee sort of hides the data port, which is somewhat set back, behind the radio. It's camouflaged well with all the wiring harnesses and other paraphernalia down there. Move the seat well back, have flashlight in hand and get waaaaay down.
