Looking forward to it.
Doesn't look like Dave gets to do the drive on Sunday.

I'm really looking forward to this too.
I believe other threads in this forum indicate the group photos event was moved to Saturday evening. Should that be reflected here?

That's OK. After driving for 3 days to get there, missing one drive isn't such a bad thing. However, I've been told that most of the participants have indicated they will be attending the Friday tech session, so if there aren't any people for the Sunday one, I may go on the drive.
One thing that I'm curious about, though. If people are going on the Sunday drive and the subsequent lunch, do they check out of the hotel before the drive? Isn't check out at noon?

Thanks for the flexibility. I'll remain on standby for the tech session. Like I said, I will already be doing a lot of driving during that week and a half. If you can keep track of how many, if any, people have indicated they would like one for Sunday, I don't have any problems doing one. I can give personalized attention to specific interests if there are only a limited number of people. You can always announce on Sat. evening (banquet) if the Sunday session will be cancelled in case there are those who might show up and didn't give any indication ahead of time.

"I have this noise!" .......................
Actually, I'm not much of a wine drinker. When I go on the wine tasting drive, I may just enjoy the scenery in the parking lot or have a nap. :o Or have a Coke in the front foyer.

We will be staying at the Marriott Sunday night so if anyone has "stuff" they do not want to carry on the drive, they can store it temporarily in our room. Just so it doesn't get left behind for us to carry home. I think our trunk will be full enough with our own "stuff". Lookind forward to seeing all of you in one week. Drive safely, everyone.

Some of us will have to be checked out of the hotel on Sunday morning if we are going to go on the drive. We will be departing the group after lunch in Olema. For us, that's on the way home already, so we'll just continue up Hwy 1.

:( I need to stop looking at these threads Joanne and I had such a great time last year it is killing us to not be able to go this year. A drive down from Toronto would be:rockon: Looks like Dave will have to uphold the honour of Canada this year:martini2:

We can identify with that except there are 2 of us. However, we are the only members in North Dakota and count as 1. At least you another current member from Calgary.

Are the drives limited to S2Ks? Mine is broken and I don't know if I have a ride yet, but I could probably get my 914 running by then.

You are a lifetime member so you can even drive a Nash Rambler if you want. In San Antonio we had a Ferrari so a 914 would be all right. We are happy to know that you will be in San Ramon with us. We will be there in 5 days so when you see the Berlina Black with North Dakota license plates, wave.

Current plans have us checking out on Sunday morning. After the Sunday drive, we head west toward Fresno/Clovis to visit family.

As I recall, the Ferrari needed a jump start in Lukenback....

Are there any details about Saturday drive? Any maps/routes? What about spirited drive down or up Skyline blvd? I wanted to drive it on our way to SF today - but it didn't work out!:)
