Ive had the car now 2 months and my front parking lights have never worked.
my turn signals work and my hazards work.
I checked the bulbs, fuses and, i took the headlight switch out and tested it in all positions its fine.
I cant get into my cpu service manual to see if there is a relay or something else that i can check. i get no power when i turn the parking lights on when i turn the blinkers or hazards on i get pwr.
any ideas thanks
the rear lights all work, the headlights both hid and high beam work.
wasnt your car water dmg'd? I would check the wiring harness in the engine bay and make sure you are getting 12v at the back of the blub. And back track from there. The parking light color is Red/Black

I believe the "park" lights are a separate set of bulbs (and thus, a separate circuit) from the signal lights and emergency flasher lights. The park lights are the two in front (behind the amber lens) and the one circuit of the brake light bulb (dual filament). So none of these come on when you turn on your headlight switch?
Do you know if your brake lights come on when you step on the brake? That should activate both filaments on each bulb.

nope my car is a clean title car no just alot of miles.
i have no voltage at the connector when the parking lights are on.
i have voltage when the hazards or turn signals are on.
wires are intact and i didnt see a break in the wire.
is there a relay for this circuit?

brake lights work
when i turn on the parking lights i get nothing neither power or the bulb lighting up.
the bulbs are crystal clear and i checked them for ohms which they have.
there is 3 sets of bulbs in the headlight? hid, high beam and parking/turn signal light?

No, the park lights and the signal lights are different bulbs and different circuits. The park light is the lower amber light and the signal is the upper amber light.
At the rear, the park light is also two sets of bulbs. The first set is the outside marker light and the second set is the second filament on the brake light bulb. If none of these work, then the whole circuit is dead. There is a "tail light" relay on the under dash fuse panel. The front park lights runs off this relay.
Does your licence plate light up when you use the head light?

With a high mileage car, a service manual is invaluable.

There's 3 identical looking relays in a row. The tail light relay is the one closest to the fuses.

Ya it was a pain trying to browse the cd manual.
I just went out to my car and all my lights work except
my parking lights and my license plate lights.
Brake lights work and all other lights are good.
I'll check the relay closest to the fuses under the dash.
Thanks again I'll check back tomorrow.

i did the non powered test and it passed.
im suppose to be getting my paperback manual anyday now so i can read up on the diagrams better.
