My +1 is allergic to mushrooms. It's far worse than just an upset stomach and bad enough that even just some truffle oil on a sandwich will set it off (as we recently discovered).

When I have a choice of non-chicken meat or vegetarian, I'll opt for vegetarian. No allergies. I just don't like beef, pork or the like. I usually do fine though by removing what I don't like. Chicken is okay.

My +1 is allergic to garlic...which is a pain, because almost every dish contains garlic (and I love garlic!). They usually accomodate by making special dish for her.

My wife is allergic to mushrooms as well, and it really isn't a pretty sight when she gets them, especially raw mushrooms. I love mushrooms, so it's a bummer for me. Oh well. We did note "no mushrooms" in the "special food requirements" section of her registration.

You own an NSX though, so it's OK...;) (I've heard...I hope it's you anyway - otherwise this was a stupid post!)

Yes, I do. See my signature? :) It's such a cool looking car and fun but when I drive the S2000 on curves, the NSX is not my favorite anymore.
