Thursday:

6pm Early check-in, S2KDays Welcome
(no reception area that day, but we have a smaller room to set up greeting/check-in)
Cocktails in the lounge

Friday:

7am to 11pm S2KDays Reception Room Open for socializing
9am Drive to Napa Valley Wine Country
1pm Lunch in Calistoga/free time
4pm Back at SR Marriott
6pm to 9pm Patio open for group cocktails/appetizers
9pm to Midnight Bowling at Earl Anthony's Dublin Bowl (bus will be available - approx 10 miles)

Optional activities will be listed and available

Saturday:

7am to 11pm S2KDays Reception Room Open for socializing
8:30am Drive from SR Marriott to Half Moon Bay, stop at coast for photos
Gas up just past Santa Cruz. Drive to Monterey Cannery Row for 12pm lunch
2pm Depart for 17 Mile Drive (coast/Pebble Beach)
3:30 Depart Monterey for SR Marriott
5:30 Arrive SR Marriott
Gather at Parking Lot for group photos
8pm S2KDays 2009 Banquet begins
8:30 Dinner served
9:30 S2KDays Speakers
10:15 S2KDays Raffles
11:45 banquet ends
(DJ will be there entire banquet for PA use and music)

Optional Spirited Drive led by Desmo
Optional activities will be listed and available

Sunday:
9am Drive from hotel to San Francisco, through City to Golden Gate Bridge
10:15 Arrive at GG Bridge visitors center parking lot, depart 10:45

Drive through Marin to Hwy 1 - possible brief stop at Muir Woods or Muir Beach
Drive Hwy 1 to Olema for lunch at Olema Farm House & Deli for Lunch
Drive back to Marin Headlands

Depart to meet back at SR Marriott or home?

I just signed up for the event and the hotel. Now, I'm finally looking to see the plans. A drive on Friday morning, as well? Hmm. May have to come up on Thursday, then.

I think it's safe to assume that a lot of the California attendee's will be arriving on Friday evening...that said, perhaps it would be better to have the group photos on Saturday ???? , rather than at 5PM on Friday. I would think that the "group photos" concept would be better served when more participants are available..?
