How can I reset the annoying message "check gas cap" that scolls on the dic? The gas cap was alittle loose but that was a few hundred miles ago.

Take the gas cap off, clean threads, put back on. May stay on for 2 weeks / 2 tankfuls

If the check cap lite doesn't go off, the CEL will go on
