Im not even sure if this is the norm or not.
I used the CC today for maybe the 2nd or 3rd time.

I was cruising at 71mph and set it at 71 - it held like its supposed to.
i lowered it down to 65 to keep in line with others. I wanted to pass someone so I accelerated, and after getting off the gas, the speedo went back down to 65.
On my older civic, if you accelerate to whatever speed, it will keep it there... normal? Im guessing so...
also..
when I canceled the CC on the steering wheel, and was driving slower, I decided to set it again. I set it 58mph, and it accelerated back to 65 and stuck there.

is this normal?

Mike,

Mine does the same thing. If you accelerate to pass another car, it will drop back down to the previous speed once you remove your foot from the gas. I believe that when you use the Cancel button to come out of CC, when you hit the Resume button, it goes back to the last set speed.

That's the way it works. If you accelerate, when you ease off on the gas, you resume the previously set speed. If you hit the cancel button and then hit the Resume, you go back to the previously set speed. To set a new speed, just hit the cancel button and then press Set...(and on long highway drives, CC is your friend)

It depends on how you "set" it. If you just "resume/accel", then it goes back to the last speed it was set. To get it to hold at the new speed, you have to press "SET/DECEL".
