How can I dim the autometer gauge lights I just installed. They are not the led style but standard incandescent bulb. Thanks John

The wire that comes from the gauge that's for the light should be plugged into the empty spade connector at the fuse panel that's meant for "ON with lights". This is tied to the instrument panel and should dim as you dim the panel.

That is where I have them? Maybe the 06' is different.I checked and they don't dim with the dash dimmer? My fuse layout is different. My #1 fuse is where your 13 is and your 27 is where my 14 is,maybe Honda changed it.I have an add a circuit fuse,I don't know which is the dash light.Maybe the one they call small lights?

Is the gauge light OFF until the headlight switch is thrown?

yes,the gauge light only comes on when the headlights are on.They blink when I use the remote control also.

I think I'll put an on/off switch for the gauge lights.I find them really to distracting to drive on the back roads at night.I can't seem to find the fuse for the dash cluster. Thanks for your effort. John

My gauge came with a green and a red bulb condom. If you still have the red one, it might make it less glaring.

I installed a little led rocker switch under the dash which sheds some cool blue light in the footwell when its on.Good idea Dave about switching to the green condom. They've done studies and green light is easier on the eyes :freak2: .I'll switch over and try her out tonight.
