Hi fella's

Need some advice/help as to what the safest and least taxing (engine/tranny) method for restarting my S.

I've heard ppl say that I should remove the fuel pump fuse and give it a few cranks to build up oil/fuel pressure? Is this correct?

Background on what was done prior to storage:

S has been in storage since Dec 15 of last year.
Fogging oil was sprayed into the intake/spark plug holes
Engine was turned twice (while spark plugs were removed)
Stab-oil was added to fuel tank prior to storage (on a full tank)
Battery is hooked up to a trickle charger
Tires inflated to 45 psi and rolled monthly
Covered with OEM cloth cover in the garage.
Oil drained and filled with Mobil 10W30 + OE filter
Seats were covered with a generous amount of leather conditioner
Dash/Rubber all lub'ed with Lexol Vinylex
Washed/waxed prior to storage

Confirm that the oil level is still good. Cycle the key to ON twice. On the 3rd cycle, after the fuel pump has done its initial thing (a couple of seconds), hit the start button and fire it up. Resist the temptation to rev it. Just let it idle at its own level till the idle drops down and stabilizes. The go drive.

After a period of storage, all pressure in the fuel rail has disappeared. Cycling it a couple of times will ensure a quicker initial start by pumping the system back up.
