I personally have never used an aftermarket wheel / hub because I wanted to keep the OEM airbags, and didn't want to mess around with the electronics.
But now that my new older car doesn't have airbags, I am itching to change the wheel for something with a thicker grip.
First question, does a specific wheel require specific hubs? Or specific car for a specific brand of hub for the matter?
What's a good starter budget wheel that has a deeper depth (don't really know how to explain it), and a thicker grip?
I've heard those knock offs actually warp under hot weather...
This would be going into an early Miata.
Cheers
