RC is now making high impediance injectors rated 650 and 750. :D I stopped by and the phone was ringing off the hook. They will probably be back ordered shortly.

You must be pushing a LOT of boost to need them. I run RC's high impedence 550s, and I've not gotten close to exceeding 80% of the duty cycle with up to 7-8 psi of boost.

Actually, the boost is currently at 7 psi and I have pullies for more. The engine breathes much better with the Alaniz head and needs the fuel.

Good luck, Sideways. I hope you're able to get the car to run well at idle. I don't have any experience, myself, with running such big injectors, but I'd worry that they might make it difficult to tune the car to start and run at low throttle positions. In any case, more "power" (pun intended) to you...

Thanks I'll post again when it reaches 400 hp. :D This is a shot from Spugen's BBQ/ralley last Saturday. Not bad for a 4 year old car eh?
My tuner assures me the high impedance big injectors will idle just fine. Looks like a couple of weeks before I can put them in now.

Hey Sideways
What strut brace is that? And can you still get to your intercooler fill cap?

That is the Comptech STB. The cooler unit can be manipulated around about 1/4 inch to make sure you have clearance. Just loosen up the large hose clamps and wiggle it into position.

Sorry to go off topic but lots of folks are having clearance problems and it is a tight fit. Some owners don't realize they can adjust the position a little.

I have about 5mm clearance. :)

Thanks...n it's not off topic...I need one to help control all the power from my new injectors.

And one to control all the power you'll leverage over the slammed Civic owners who'll be crowding around your engine bay demanding to know how much faster the car is with the Comptech strut brace is than it would be with the Spoon brace...

Does that mean if I put in two I'll be faster?
  :lol2:

Yes, but the returns are diminishing. Scientific tests show that you'll improve your laptimes by as much as 5% with a strut brace. What most consumers don't realize is that almost all of that improvement comes from improved straight line performance, not cornering. The strut brace acts as a collector of otherwise lost potential energy, transforming that energy into improve chassis rigidity that more accurately aligns the drivetrain components, thereby cutting drive train energy loss (and heat production), putting more power to the wheels and causing less wear on the drive train components. Get two braces, however, and your lap times will only improve by 7.2%.

Thanks, sorry for the slow response.
Vtec at 4900
RWHP is at 440 now. (2.06 times stock) :yikes: Torque at 260 ft lbs. This thing is a total hoot to drive. It's sort of like having solid rocket boosters with the increasing thrust.

Oh, and the ironic thing is the 750s are maxed out at 8500rpm and I need bigger injectors. :yikes:

Oops, it turns out the fuel pump is not HP. Upgraded fuel pump should take care of the problem. :D
