Well as things go, I'm waiting for wheels, have tires for the wheels in my shed and the missfire I have been experiencing turns out to be a burnt valve in cylinder #1. I told Honda to check their records because I called them when the car had 15000 miles and I checked the valve clearance. Intakes .004-.006 and exhaust 007- .009 much too small in both cases. Of course Honda Torrence can find no record of the call but the dealer agrees with me that Honda should pay even though the car had 38300 when the fault was first diagnosed. Having Mugen headers installed while it's apart.

Car is back together and running superbly. The Mugen header addition made a remarkable difference. It's better of the line and from 4500 on up absolutely exillarating. 90 mph is reached without effort when entering freeways which was a bit shocking the first time with all the law enforcement presence on the 9/11 anaversary. I'm not sure if it's the airbox and header combination which makes the total difference but I think the $1300 is a value for this amount of gain.

While prerusing the Mugen/ King website I noticed their $48.00 a bottle MoS2 engine oil. I have available an MoS2 additive which retails for $9.54 and you add it to 4.5 quarts of normal engine oil at each oil change. I use this in my own S2000 and sell quite a bit to other auto enthusiasts as well. I will ship it free to any club member. The benifits can be realized after about 8000 miles use. Contact me off the list for more information.
