So i have a Viper 791xv on my car now... had it on there for about 2.5 years now. And recently it was started not working. On the remote it shows that the signal is getting transmitted to the car. but its like the responder is receiving it. Is there a way to check if the responder isnt working?
this is something I've started seeing with the two way systems. You can try to unplug and reset the alarm, but that could be difficult. Some times just removing the battery on the remote will help. But its only a temp fix, it will start doing it again down the road. I would think about getting a new one sometime in the future.

yea i have already done the new battery, resyncing the alarm to pager. next i guess is going to try taking it a shop to look at if i cant find a way to test the responder.
There is a option to turn off the page feed back. Let me see if I can find it. Maybe you some how changed it.

Ok this is the remote owners guide. Two things I want you to check. Make sure you are have the right car selected on the remote. Pushing the "P" button on the back can change the car that the remote is assigned to, and then you will no longer get pages. Also check the features on the remote and make sure that it is still set to on.

ok it looks like the P button on the back was the problem.... which is funny cause i was sure that i had messed with that one before. but either way its working. Thanks for the help!!!
