my s2000 is a 2000 and i have a problem with my horn
at any time (driving or stopped with no keys in the contact) the car horns and both doors lock at the same time. it happens randomly ( i couldnt figure a patern ) and the horn stays on for about 2 to 5 seconds. i took the horn relay out to be able to drive but i d like to solve that problem.
anybody had a similar problem???

is it a long 'beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep', or short repeatative 'beeep', 'beeep', 'beeep' ?

Sounds like an intermittent short I would check the circuit diagram.

Do you have a Honda OEM or aftermarket alarm?

its a long beeeeeeep
i have an aftermarket alarm
i took the aftermarket alarm fuse out to be sure that it didnt come from it and it still beep
my guess at this point is the keyless module is freeking out or the cable reel in the steering is shorting

The beep you hear that is associated with using the UNlock button on your key fob is not the horn. It is part of the head light ON reminder system. It's the same beeper that activates if you get out of the car and leave your headlights on. When you do the lock, it should beep once. When you unlock, it should beep twice. This because your running lights blink once or twice depending on what your'e doing. Also, when you use the lock button a second time, that's when the "horn" honks once. I'm sure this anomoly has something to do with this system.
