I need to reset the ECU on 2006. I remember reading about something different in the procedure for the newer cars. I looked in the service manual but did not find the procedure. I searched here but did not find what I think I recall reading.

Can some one remind me which fuse to pull? I would rather do that than disconnect the battery.

Thanks

I"m not sure if the newer models have a different way to do this, but see if you have a "BACK UP" fuse. Look on the legend on your kick panel. If you have one, that's the fuse to pull for about a minute.
Failing that, you could always just remove the negative battery terminal for a few minutes. Make sure you have your radio code.
Why do you need to reset the ECU? If you have a CEL, you should find out what code it's throwing before you reset. If you have just installed a new engine mod, the ECU will learn to deal with it even if you don't reset it. It just takes a bit longer.
