32 psi.
I ran a little higher on my last set, and got the typical wear pattern in the middle of the tread - too much air.
So, I'm back to the recommended 32 psi.

I've had good experiences with 32 psi as well. Check your pressures often, but also pay attention to your car; if it's not handling as well as usual and it's not because the tires are cold, it's probably time for some air.

The knuckle heads at Oakland Honda delivered my 03 to me w/ 50# pressure.
It is very consistently mild weather/temp here in the Bay Area, 55 to75 degrees-10 months out of the year.
I run 35# and have very even wear.

well, keep in mind, what we are referring to is "cold" tire pressures. you don't even want them to get up to 50#'s hot, but... 32-36#'s cold, equal all around seems to be very well placed. adjust the rears, even or 1-2#'s lower depending on driving preference.

You guys have any recommendations for aftermarket tire pressure? Specifically, what pressures for the following sizes:
225/45YR-17 (front)
255/40YR-17 (rear)
I've been running 32psi for the time being (and seems to be working fine). Just wanted to see if anybody had other ideas.

Deep - not really, it just varies on the tire itself, how they wear, the outside temps and most of all, how you drive and what you prefer.
If the wear looks fine (even all across), stick with it. But otherwise, look at specific tire recommendations. If it isn't even all the way across, is it wearing in the middle? or the outsides? that should adjust some pressure. Also "feel" has a lot to do with it. With less pressure = more grip but less control. With more pressure = more control but less grip. But if the wear is on the insides, then that is just wear from the camber settings and you need to join us for more spirited drives. =)

I usually run 34 cold from March - May, drop back to 32 cold from June - Sept, then back up to 34 cold until the car goes into storage... All 4 sets of tires have had even wear with this system.

Good thread! Even though this is a very basic question, it seems to be one that comes up every now and again. I think we need to pull this info together and make a FAQ to post. I will do that, but will wait to see if anyone else wants to add some more good information.
Thanks to all for input and thanks to racezx9 for posting the question.
