Hey all. I am steve, im a marine and am currently deployed. Im a rifleman in the infantry. But anyways, enough with the intros. I am buying a 2003 Yellow/black s2k, with 31k mi. The first thing I want to change is intake/exhaust, possibly camshafts, and add a hardtop. I was recommended HKS High Power exhaust, HK cam shafts. What intake/exhaust combo would be the best for this car? I want to add a dece amount of whp. Thanks for the suggestions.

Steve
The motor is already pretty maxed out. Header exhaust gains are minimal. I'm not sure about the hks cams but I don't think the toda cams worked out that well. Intakes haven't shown that much either.
Cheapest way to get some more ponies out is pick up a supercharger for it.
Watch the board they show up for sale on here complete once in awhile.

I wouldn't mess with the cams. A lot of money and work for a little to no benefit. Intake and exhaust will help drop a few pounds and make the car sound different. Don't expect miracles.

As already stated, unless you go with boost, you won't get much WHP gain from simple mods. You can spend A LOT of money on I/H/E/cams/ECU/etc. and still not be near 300 WHP while another guy will buy a CT or Vortec SC and be there for the same amount of money.
Congrats on the new car and THANK YOU for doing what you are doing for us and our country.

Alright guys, I appreciate the quick responses. I will probably just enjoy the car for awhile, until I can save up enough to supercharge it. But take it easy.
