If I lower my car 1 inch will I have to get a camber kit? And will it help or hurt my handling because I know that honda has done a superb job on the wieght and balance for our car. If lowering the car won't mess with all the great engineering on the s2k then should i just get coilovers w/ stock dampers(cause stock damper are high quality) or should i not mix and get ground control coilovers w/ koni yellows or just go all the way w/ something like an apexi setup? Or is all this just not worth it because the stock setup is soo good.
My goal is primarliy to lower the car 1inch. Secondly spend least amount possible while maintaing a high quality, long lasting, supsension setup...Any insights, opinions or advice would be greatly appreciated...

If you are running stock wheels, one inch is fine. If you have AM wheels, confirm that the offsets will give you clearance.
I know this from experience.
You will love the handling with the lowered chassis.

Since you already understand what a great job Honda has done, what leads you to believe that inexpensive after market parts will be a benefit? If you have an AP1 then the biggest suspension fault is body roll, most noticeable on the track. I would suggest a set of Swift Sway Bars as a first step and see how you like the change. They are not too expensive and very easy to install. Plus no alignment or ride height adjustments will be necessary.

Good advice, unfortunately this will not get him the 1" lowering he is looking for.

You will not have to get a camber kit. The S comes stock with adjustable camber. But for 1 inch you wont even have to worry about it.
From what I've read, you can put lowering springs on your oem shocks BUT they tend to wear out faster. Coilovers are ultimatly the best, but for just dropping an inch Koni Yellow's and lowering springs would be a nice setup also.

appreciate all the feedback..thanks. i'm just getting off deployment from out here in the desert so i have a desire to drive my s and have plenty of money for cosmetics and performence.
I have 18inch bbs rg-r's with potenza re's, a j's racing exhaust. i think i will purchase a k&n filter for an intake. koni's and gc's for the suspension, along w/ swift sway bars, a silver oem hardtop. and an ipod adapter.
i would be content with all these mods on my s. any suggestions or recomendations??
