Is there any benifit to change out the sway bars and keep the stock shocks and springs?
I was thinking about the CR sways, but got to thinking that they are designed for the total
CR package. Cusco and swift are stiffer, but i dont want to screw up the balance i have.
Or would stiffer bars cause any balance problem? Understeer ? Oversteer ? Any thoughts
will be appreciated.

most sway bars bring understeer, or help balance the car out. I have a AP1 with a cucso 32mm 3 way and I love it. But you would need to judge for yourself if you have to much oversteer or not. I perfer mine to be on the meduim setting for a nice balance with the ability to still get some oversteer going.

Im thinking about going with the Swift bars. Im not going to track my car, just want something
alittle stiffer.

I have the Comptech adjustable competition bar and it doesn't cause any under steer, that's for sure.

I have Swift sway bars on my AP1. The car feels much more planted and the install does nothing to change the balance.

I keep hearing that if you go with a stiffer rear bar, the back end tends to want to break lose.
Im considering the swift bars, but because i have an AP2 suspension, im wondering if this
will make a difference.

With a bigger bar/stiffer bar in the back, it effects the front of the car, not necessarily the rear of the car. This will increase the amount of oversteer / it will decrease the amount of understeer.

By just doing one bar, you are doing more harm than help with the car - unless you are trying to fix a particular behavior with the car. If you don't want to upset the balance, don't do a darned thing to the car. If you did X, Y, and Z and you are getting some ill effect you wish to correct, then start experimenting, but until then, with a stock AP2 suspension, you'll be doing more harm than good.

The Swift bars are a pair, front and rear which work perfectly together and combined with Mugen NZ dampers, it;s like driving a slot car. Impossible to compare with the stock suspension. Its that much better.

Did you mean, help "bring understeer" under control? I had always been under the impression that sway bars helped to control understeer, not induce it...

Or have I had this backwards all these years?

Depends which bar, and the resistance it provides.
