It's been pretty nice around here lately and pretty much all the snow is gone. Time to think spring maintenance.
Just did most of my spring checks on the S. All rubber boots sprayed (CV, steering rod, all tie rod and linkage rod boots) and sprayed all suspension arm pivots, sway bar bushings. Checked nuts and bolts on propshaft and 1/2 shafts. Checked all brake pads and took the winter tires off (cleaned and checked all lug threads). Gave everything a good grab and a wiggle to check for unusual play. Checked all the connections along the exhaust.
Will do the tranny, diff fluid and engine oil when I get back from vacation. I guess I should clean the air filter, too and check the plugs. Will do the rubber seals when the HT comes off later, then treat the soft top. Do a quick interior clean.
Gave it a wash. Still looks like new after 8 years. Will give it a shine with Zaino when winter is "really" over.
Everything has been working so well all winter, I think I could have just kept driving without doing a thing. Oh well, good to look after your rubbers.
