Have there been any known issues with brakes not working well when they are hot? This isn't a consistent problem, but I've had a couple of scares. '06, hasn't been tracked, 15,000 miles, and I don't ride the brakes.

Thanks,
Sean.

The stock brakes on the S2000 are very good - I can't see the brakes fading on the street unless you are really overdriving the car. On the track all you need is good fluid and good pads and they are great.

You might want to flush the fluid and put in something like Motul. You should be fine then.

I have an '06 with 10,000 miles. I don't have any issues on them. In fact..the brakes are wonderful, even after some nice mountain driving.

Can you give us a little more description on "not working well"

Does the pedal go down and feel like there's no resistance?
Does it grip but the car doesn't stop?
Does it make noises?

What's going on?

Also..questions.
1) Have you ever changed the brake fluid?
2) Have you ever changed brake pads?
3) Have you ever changed rotors?

And since you should still have warranty...take it to the dealer!

Aside from the above, can you describe what you have been doing just prior to the brakes "not working well"?
