I seen alot of people recommend mobil 1 75w90 for transmission and diff fluid change. Would that be a good idea? If so, how much of it do i need to get to do a change? Thanks again.

Absolutely NOT!
M1 75W90 is ONLY for the rear diff. DO NOT put it in your transmission. A lot of people put Honda MTF in the S2000 tranny.
The tranny takes about 1.75 qts (get 2 bottles). The rear diff takes 0.8 qt. (get 1 bottle). Many people over fill the tranny by about 200cc and the rear diff by about 100cc. It's not like an engine crankcase. The tranny and rear diff gears bath in the fluid. A little more actually is of benefit.

I hope this kind of ignorance isn't epidemic out there. If it is, buying a used S2000 would be like a crap shoot. Makes selling a good used one that much harder.

i have been very happy with the 2007 Honda MTF. silver bottle, green label, and white cap. better cold shifts and smoother high RPM shifts when up to temp, best of both worlds.

I'm running the new Honda MTF and love it. I just did a fluid change using 75-140 Valvolene Syn in the diff. it really made the whining less noticeable.

He did make this qualification:
Silver quarts of oil used for Rear Diff.
He used the same pic to do the rear diff fluid change "How To" as seen here:

I will alert Coop to make the necessary qualifications.
As mentioned by many here, Honda MTF for the tranny is great and M1 75W90 is good for the rear diff. You can also use any GL-5 fluid for the rear diff.
