I think it depends on the skill of the driver how much the rear end slip will be limited...

Yes, the S2000 comes with a factory Torsion (torque sensing) LSD It works great but, if one wheel leaves the ground the traction is lost. It must sense resistance from one wheel or the other to work.

In the pic you see two open rears, the rear on the left has an aftermarket (Kaaz) clutch type LSD. The rear on the right has a factory Honda (torsion type) LSD lying in front of it.
The torsion type LSD will allow the outer wheel to turn a little faster going around corners much like an open rear (no LSD) will. The clutch type LSD will remain locked going around corners and push the car through the corner.
These types of LSDs are used mainly for racing and require maintenance from time to time.
