If you don't currently have the stock CD changer, this will simply use the empty CD changer input plug-in on the back of the HU. It is an expensive version of some of the ones available on ebay. I'm about to install one of those ebay ones in my car. Just waiting for my AP2 HU to arrive.

No, all stock S2000 HUs have the CD changer option, so there is that plug-in on the back. I just wanted to upgrade to a new HU to get a clock and an '05 was available from a member here.

If you get an Alpine IDA-X001 you can plug in an Ipod and a CD changer to the AI net connector or if your Ipod is 5th generation it can be connected via USB for better fidelity and functionality and the CD changer via AI net. Both connections are available and the USB/ AI net cables are included.
