Audio panel - unusual question

Hey, does anyone know the purpose of the slots on the inside of the flip-down audio panel? They're not for stereo cooling, are they? They do seem to be just about the right size to hold business cards or a credit card / toll pass card... :light:

I think it's a card holder. They put them on Accords/Most Acuras, and the Pilot. I used to put my Apt. Access card in there.

I trimmed down an envelope and keep my registration and insurance card there. I figure it will reduce stress on the policeman when I get pulled over. I want him or her to see my hands at all times right from when the lights go on.

I use them to store the club cards. That way they are always there when I need to card soneone!

It's a "junk" slot, but in a pinch, I can put an additional elephant in there, increasing the number to 5 .......................... 2 in the trunk, 1 in the glove box, 1 in the secret compartment and 1 in the radio door. If I don't have a passenger, I can carry 2 more, but the 1 in the footwell thinks it's too hot next to the heater vent. ;)

Dave, when the top is up you can put one in the well behind the seats where the top goes when it's down... :lol3:
