Thought I'd post this information here instead of only on the Pacific Northwest Chapter forums.
We're taking off on 9 & 10 June for for one of the most scenic trips in Washington. We will meet up at the Farm House Restaurant on Hwy 20 in Mount Vernon, Washington at 9 AM Saturday the 9th. We will be heading out across Hwy 20, crossing through North Cascades National Park. This area is known as America's Alps and you'll see why. We'll continue on 20 all the way to Omak. We're staying at the Omak Inn Saturday night. Reservations can be made by calling (509)826-3822. Tell them you are with the S2000 club. Rates are $58.50 for a single queen and $67.50 for two queens. Rooms are limited and only held until 1 May, so you better hurry.At least half of them are already taken.
On Sunday we'll leave Omak and head south following the Columbia River to Wenatchee. There we'll turn off on Hwy2 and head off toward Leavenworth. We'll take a break there before continueing on toward Monroe. We'll stop there so that people can go their own way home. This is a nice dividing spot for those going N or S on I-5 or heading to Edmonds for the ferry.
Should be a great trip. Planned driving distance is just under 400 miles of great mountain and country driving. More information is available on the Pacific Northwest forum or you can PM me.
