I'm not sure, but I think I've read threads where peaple did the same thing and it can be fixed.

I made a reply about wheel repair shops in your area (in your other thread). I see Boomvang has given a suggestion.

Thanks guys! I'm going to try and get it fixed. I put the stock wheels back on last night :( Just doesn't look as nice. Well it was my fault! I was just not paying attention. There really wasn't any need to. (I thought) It was me and the +1 on the way home from a drive going through Harriman State Park with nobody but us on the road only going 45mph. This pothole was sitting there minding it's own business until I came along. I learned my lesson. I'm not talking to my wife while I'm driving anymore!:D
Now it's off to have the alignment checked!

Euro-Tire in Fairfield, NJ is doing the alignment. They will do a performance car alignment. They specialize in Exotics and performance cars which means they don't suffer from the "it's in spec mentality". They also said if the wheel is not creased (It isn't ) They most likely can fix it.

Wheels America has a pretty good deal. You ship them your wheels, they fix them and return them to you in about a week. They pay the return shipping. I used them with good results.

Thanks guys! Euro-Tire has them out being fixed. They said I won't even know they were touched.
Just in-case I have Volk RE30s waiting in the wing! :D

Keystone Auto here in chicago does the best work on wheel repair I've ever seen. I have had multiple wheels repaired by them to perfection including bends, repainting, curb rash, etc..you name it, the result was perfect every single time.

Again Thanks guys! I appreciate all the help. Euro tire called tonight. The wheels are back and fixed. I can't pick them up until next week. But I will stop in there tomorrow on the way to the Dragon for a look see. I'll let you know how they cam out.

Well, looks like I have bent front wheel...
So, what is a good ballpark estimate to have a bent wheel repaired? Is the structural integrity returned to original "good as new" specifications?
On the other hand, maybe I just need a new wheel (OEM -- '06). Anybody got as extra?

I'm going to guess between 50 to 100 bucks depending on the complexity of the damage. The only problem could be if the rim has sustained some sort of fracture. I doubt a straightened rim will have the same "good as new" integrity, but assuming no cracks were made, it will be more than adequate for a dependable and reliable service life.

Thanks for the info (and for so much more I see you've contributed...). I don't think it suffered a fracture...I guess these folks could determine if this is the case?
I'll definitely check out this approach.

Big cracks are easy. It's the microscopic hairline ones that are hard to discover without special equipment. I don't know if rim repair facilities would have such equipment. Anytime you ride on a repaired rim, you do so on a "wing and a prayer". Never any guarantees.

I got my wheels back! Good as new. All within specs on run-out and round once again. Not even a scratch!! Whoever Euro-Tire in Fairfield, NJ used for the wheel repair, they were very good. The cost for the wheel repair was $130 ea. plus the mounting and balancing for both.
:shout: If you need work done in the North Jersey Area, give Bill at Euro-Tire in Fairfield, NJ a call.
