Though I reserve the right to cancel at short notice. There are a couple of things outside my control going on this year that may prevent me from coming up.

It looks like the K Bar S is now fully booked. I updated the hotel info in the first post of this thread with a couple of nearby alternatives. The rates at the two new hotels will be less expensive... around $70.00 - $80.00 per night.

Looks like it is busier than I expected. I would have never expected the hotel to fill up this early.

Just got off the phone with my bud Larry (joined us on the first leg of the Lake Superior tour). He's in the works of joining the club and He and his wife Sue plan on joining us on the Black Hills Rally, Hopefully he'll post soon. Larry you out there?

There is a seven-day cancellation notice at the K Bar S. Not sure about the others, but I'd guess it's comparable or shorter. I'd make a reservation now "just in case" and then see how things shake out.

For the rest of us... If it turns out that you cannot make it, we'll be floored, of course. But we'll survive. ;)

Agghh... Sorry guys. I had a clear schedule and thought I would make it, but I have to go to Brazil that week instead for work. I'll even be working on Memorial day.

Enjoy your time there. It looks like a great schedule! I'll send my dad a link to your plans. I can't make it, but maybe he will in either his Triumph TR6 or my S2000.

I just got a PM from timg and he said that work will be taking him out of town during our planned trip. I will remove his name from the list at the beginning of this post. Hopefully this will be our only deletion.

I have not heard about Denver, but a couple of other people have contacted me directly with questions about the event. One I from the Minneapolis/St Paul, MN area and the other is located in Rockford, IL. Neither one of these individuals have officially committed to the event yet. We shall see...

It looks like this is getting to be a pretty large group!

Interesting... When I made my reservation for the hotel in Deadwood, I originally made it for two nights, "just in case". I just changed it to one night only (May 30th to 31st), and the rate that they charged me dropped to $79 instead of $99 as before. As far as I can tell, it's teh same room as before.

If it's worth it to you, y'all might want to see if you can save $20 by rebooking your room at this time. It pays for dinner or half a tank of gas. ;)
