Just wanted to give everyone a heads-up that I submitted bids for S2KCA to rent Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca twice in 2007, one bid for the first half of the year and another for the second half. There are no guarantees of course, but because of our track record (pun intended) we feel pretty good that we'll make it on the schedule at least once next year.

Stay tuned because it's possible that we could soon be offered a date (maybe as soon as February!) We might not have all that much advanced notice when we get the call, so we'll have to work together and move swiftly. We've already got the track insurance part covered so that's a big hoop we won't have to jump through later. :thumbu:

Along with the Winter Wine Tour, the Laguna events have become the Club's signature out on the West Coast, and Vinny and I intend to keep the tradition alive and well for quite some time!

Long live Laguna!!! :w00t:

Laguna 2007! :w00t:

Definitely keep us updated. I'm sure there are a ton of members that would love to drive that famed track. Thanks Perry and Vinny for making it possible.

Just make it a few weeks vacation by attending Winter Wine Tour 07 and then Laguna Seca. I can't think of a better vacation, other than my trip to Italy this week :D

Hmmm. Another long drive for next year. :D I hope I can get the time off of work. That reminds me that it'd be really fun to make it a 2-day affair by adding a day of group drives, fun and frivolity the day before or after the Laguna track day. That way the folks who drive a ways get more out of the trip.
